Thats an excellent reply to the very aggravating, negative ‘trump card’ article.
the reason i say its a ‘trump card’ is because any party that has any sort of national agenda will use racial issues to achieve their motives.And it does work in a multiracial country like Malaysia,hence the name.
It can be used positively or the other way around.
when used positively,it cultivates unity among all and leads us to global success.
when used negatively,it separates all of us and we go back to the ‘dasar pecah dan perintah’,which was used very effectively by our ex-penjajah tanah melayu to ensure that we do not unite ang gain independence.Never once i thought that our own kind will use it against us.The effect of such use of racial issues leads to aggresiveness and loss of respect between the races in all aspects ie:economically.socially and (especially) politically.
This will,so very obviously bring us down to an extent that we have to, maybe even declare independence again,because i believe that ,independence of a country cannot survive without the unity of the people in that country.Hopefully,we do not reach such a state.
Thats a very sad fate for a country with so much potential.
i just hope our current government makes a strong stand and make the ‘unity of the people’ issue their priority.They started with the 1Malaysia concept and i applaud them for it.Lets hope for more positive incitement eh people.:-)

You are truly an Anak Bangsa Malaysia! The anger and disgust you felt at the gutter rubbish spewed forth by Utusan is felt by all Anak Bangsa Malaysia. Please continue to speak up for justice and fairness that will encourage others to stand up to be heard to. Utlimataely, the sheer volume of disgust of Anak-anak Bangsa Malaysa will force our PM to put a stop to all this racial incitement and implement a genuine 1Malaysia.
