Get well soon Your Highness!

LoyarBurok wishes the Sultan of Selangor a speedy recovery at Stanford University Medical Center, Palo Alto, California, United States of America. And to our very IJN, shame on you.

I would like to congratulate his Highness Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, the Sultan of Selangor, on his Highness’ successful heart surgery operation carried out at the Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto, California, United States of America instead of our very own premier Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) which claims the following:

Today we are an integrated one-stop centre offering comprehensive cardiac services under one roof. We have an experienced and committed team of specialist cardiologist, surgeons, anaesthesiologists, paramedics and clinical support staff passionate about seeking new and better ways to provide our services. They are empowered to deliver the highest standards of clinical excellence following upon policy of investment in the latest technology that can handle even the most complicated cases.

To continue to be the leading heart institution in the region, we actively support training, research and development activities that will be applied to enhance our standards of care.

I am certain the rakyat is thoroughly assured and comforted that his Highness’ cardiac rehabilitation will take place in Stanford University Medical Center under the supervision of director of TLC services, Nancy Houston Miller, prior to his return to Malaysia, instead of IJN. I am also pleased to note that his follow-up consultation will be with Dr. Craig Miller, his Highness’ cardiac surgeon and am certain he will recover very well in the company of his younger brother, comptroller of the Selangor royal household, Selangor royal council member, his private aide and his personal physician, Datuk Dr. Anuar Masduki, who all flew over to United States, hopefully at their own expense instead of the rakyat.

I hope IJN improves its facilities to not only cater for the rakyat and considers improving their standards to cater for royalty because its obvious they do not think very highly of IJN’s abilities. They should be ashamed that our very own Sultans have to be jetted to foreign lands for medical facilities. I am certain their royal Highnesses would love to obtain treatment in their very own country if they could. Heh.

Fahri Azzat practices the dark arts of the law. Although he enjoys writing and reading, he doesn't enjoy writing his own little biographies of himself. Like this one. He wished somebody else would do it for him. He has little taste in writing about himself in third person. He feels weird doing it. But the part he finds most tedious is having to pad up the lack of his accomplishments, or share some interesting facts about his rather uneventful life, as if there were some who found that oh-so-interesting; as if he were some famous person, like Michael Jackson. When he writes these biographies, the thought, 'Wei, Jangan Perasaan- ah!' lights up in his head. So he usually just lists what he got involved with, positions he held and blah, blah. But this time. Right here. Right this very moment. Uhuh. This one. This one right here. He's finally telling it like it is.
