Did you know that 1 in 7 people lack access to clean water?

Aveda is working with local NGO EcoKnights, supporting their H2O Project (Help to Offer Safe Drinking Water to Mantanani) on the island of Mantanani, Sabah where the funds raised will assist in delivering safe and clean drinking water to some 1200 villagers on the island. This island may be a popular tourist diving site, but locals on the island do not have potable water supply.

Our goal is to give them RM15,000.00 through Walk For Water on 21 April 2013 @ 8 am, The Square, Publika. To help us achieve this goal, we will be fundraising through the sales of wax/organic candles and also limited edition AVEDA caps (minimum RM20 donation for a cap).

Make a difference when you join the fun.

  1. Most of us people agreed that college in every field like traditional arts and other Career subjects such as engineering, business and science is all very important and it is key of success. We all agree and admit on this fact and we cannot deny and ignore the benefits of college education in our life.

  2. We all appreciate Aveda's activities… Water is the basic essential to life. People can live up to a week or better without food, but can only live 2-to-3 days without water. Clean water can be hard to find if you get stranded or there is an emergency. If you have to find your own water supply, you must be able to strain out impurities that can make you sick.
    thanks a lot!~ John Abraham
